Bishkek, Dec. 11, 2017. /Kabar/. Swimmer from Kyrgyzstan, Elizaveta Rogozhnikova, won three gold and one silver medals at an International Swimming Tournament. It was organized for the Cup of 4-time Olympic champion Alexander Popov in Russia. The tournament was held from Dec. 8 to 10 in Kazan, Russia, the Kyrgyz Swimming Federation reported. More than 500 best swimmers from the regions of Russia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Azerbaijan and Germany took part in it. Rogozhnikova already became the winner of this prestigious tournament at a distance of 400 m freestyle - 4.33.12. After that she won a silver medal - 2.26.22, at a distance of 200 m complex swimming, setting a new record for Kyrgyzstan. As a result of the tournament, the team from Kyrgyzstan took the third team place. Thus Rogozhnikova became the most titled participant of the tournament. There are 4 medals on her account - 3 gold (100 m, 200 m, 400 m freestyle) and 1 silver (200 m complex swimming) medal. Read more
