Bishkek, Feb. 20, 2018. / Kabar /. Former Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Emil Kaikiev has been appointed a member of the Board (Minister) for Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) by the decision of the heads of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU) member states. The new minister has assumed his duties since Feb. 20. The new minister represents the Kyrgyz Republic in the EEU. The board of the Commission consists of ten people. Each country of the Union is represented by two members of the Board. Kyrgyzstan is represented at the EEC by two ministers: - Emil Kaikiev - member of the Board (Minister) for Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission; - Mukai Kadyrkulov - member of the Board (Minister) for Customs Cooperation of the Eurasian Economic Commission (he holds the post since Feb.1, 2016); Kaikiev was dismissed from the post as deputy foreign minister today. He held this position in March 2015. Emil Kaikiev will replace Adamkul Zhunusov, who was a member of the Board (Minister) for Energy and Infrastructure of the Eurasian Economic Commission since July 2016. Read more
