Bishkek, June 12, 2018. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan established diplomatic relations with the Federation of St. Christopher and Nevis, the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry reported. On June 8, 2018 in London (Great Britain), Kyrgyzstan's Ambassador to Great Britain Gulnara Iskakova and High Commissioner of the Saint Christopher and Nevis Federation Kevin M. Aizak signed the Joint Communiqué on the Establishment of Diplomatic Relations between the two states. In the document, the sides confirm their intention to build bilateral relations in accordance with the UN Charter, the provisions of the Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations of April 18, 1961 and the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations of April 24, 1963. After the signing ceremony, Iskakov and Aizak expressed their confidence that the establishment of diplomatic relations will promote the development of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Federation of St. Christopher and Nevis, including within the framework of international organizations. The Federation of St. Christopher and Nevis, also known as the Federation of Saint Kitts and Nevis state in the eastern Caribbean.
