Bishkek, Dec. 14, 2018. /Kabar/. Kyrgyz First Vice Prime Minister Kubatbek Boronov met with the leadership of China Jiangsu International Wang Bin. The meeting was held in the framework of participation in the 6th China-Central Asia Cooperation Forum "Merging Civilizations along the Silk Road and Deepening Win-Win Cooperation” in Yangzhou, Jiangsu province, China. The press service of the Government, during the meeting, the sides discussed issues of possible bilateral cooperation, as well as details on the opening of the Kyrgyz-Chinese agro-industrial park. The First Vice Prime Minister informed about the work carried out by the Kyrgyz Government to create favorable conditions for the country's entrepreneurs. Boronov stressed the need to accelerate the implementation of the joint project for the construction of an agro-industrial park, which will give impetus to more active trade and economic cooperation between the two countries. In particular, it will create prerequisites for convenient and profitable export of domestic agricultural, livestock and dairy products to China. In October 2018, the Investment Promotion and Protection Agency of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Chinese corporation of Jiangsu province for international technical and economic cooperation – “China Jiangsu International” signed a Memorandum of Cooperation on the creation of the Kyrgyz-Chinese agro-industrial park. The First Vice Prime Minister also held a meeting with representatives of leading Chinese companies in IT technologies (OBORCloud (Beijing) Network Technology, International Business Settlement HK, Jiangsu Yaxin Petrochemical Construction Group). Boronov stressed that the Kyrgyz Republic will enter the active phase of digital transformation in 2019, which, above all, will affect the digitalization of the economy and public services. He informed about the creation of favorable conditions for international technology companies, as well as the provided tax holidays, protection of intellectual property, low electricity tariffs, and training of ICT specialists.
