Sat, 2020-09-19 23:19 RIYADH: Five people were injured on Saturday after a military projectile launched by Yemen’s Houthi militia fell in Jazan, southwestern Saudi Arabia, state news agency SPA said. The media spokesperson for the Civil Defense directorate in Jazan region, Col. Mohammed bin Yahya Al-Ghamdi, said that “the directorate had received a report about the fall of a military projectile launched by the Iranian-backed Houthi militia from inside Yemeni territory toward one of the border villages in Al-Harath governorate in Jazan region.” Al-Ghamdi said the projectile damaged the exterior of a civilian object protected under international humanitarian law and three vehicles. The five people were injured from the flying shrapnel and were taken to the hospital.
