Bishkek, Aug. 18, 2018. /Kabar/. Deputy Prime Minister Altynay Omurbekova met with the 12th group of scholarship holders for JDS Project – state and municipal officials of Kyrgyzstan, who are to leave for Japan to study. Among the participants of the meeting were Ambassador of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic H.E. Yamamura Yashihiro, Permanent Representative of JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) in the Kyrgyz Republic Kikuchi Kazuhiko and Deputy Director of the State Human Resources Office Oleg Tarbinsky. The Deputy Prime Minister, seeing off the group of young state officials leaving for Japan, wished them to obtain quality education in two years, which would further be used for the good of the Kyrgyz state. “I hope that you will become the elite of the republic and the knowledge that you acquire will be valuable and beneficial. And in this regard, great hopes are placed on you, because your generation is our country’s future,” Omurbekova said. For today, thanks to the government of Japan, 176 scholarship holders were send to Japan, 141 of them have successfully concluded their studies in Japan and acquired Master’s degrees. Read more
