Bishkek, May 23, 2019. /Kabar/. The Sate Personnel Service of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe (OSCE) signed cooperation plan for the integration of persons with disabilities into the civil service. Acting Director of the Personnel Service Bakytbek Sagynbayev and Head of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek Ambassador Pierre von Arx signed an interaction plan for 2019 aimed at promoting an inclusive environment and protecting the rights and opportunities of persons with disabilities in the public and municipal services, the press service of the State Personnel Service reported. The cooperation plan includes modernization of the material and technical equipment of the Testing centers for competitions with participation of people with disabilities, development of manuals on preparation for testing for vacant positions, training of employees of personnel management services of state agencies in the skills of holding a competition among people with disabilities, etc. The head of the State Personnel Service expressed gratitude to the Ambassador for the support of the Service’s initiatives to promote the rights and opportunities of people with disabilities, and also confirmed his commitment to ensuring the inclusiveness of the state and municipal services. Pierre von Arx noted that the Office will continue to support the Kyrgyz State Personnel Service in its efforts to integrate people with disabilities into the civil service. Read more
