Libyan Express is expanding its network with three new direct routes. Starting September 6th, the airline will fly to Malta, Rome, and Milan. Georgia's Kulevi oil refinery received its first shipment of Libyan crude on August 28, according to TASS. The refinery made the switch because of EU sanctions against Russian oil. The move is part of efforts to find alternative suppliers.
Libya's media director Ahmed Al-Masallati reported that 12 of the 16 fuel tankers scheduled for August have arrived, and the remaining tankers are currently discharging at Libyan ports. The update was given during a press conference in Tripoli on the economic and service situation.
