The Cyber Security Incident Response Team, known as SUR‑CSIRT, has begun delivering educational sessions in schools. The program focuses on cyberbullying, phishing and account theft. Organizers also discuss risks associated with gaming and the protection of personal data. The first workshops are being held at the Mgr. De Bekkerschool. Additional schools in Paramaribo, Commewijne and the Marowijne district will receive the sessions later. The campaign aims to raise awareness among students about online threats.
