Full story
Three tankers carrying roughly 140,000 tonnes of Russian diesel have set sail on a voyage whose declared destination is the United States, according to maritime tracking systems. The journeys of the ships appear as an unexpected detail attached to the reported deal between Trump and Putin. Two of the vessels figure on western sanctions lists, and one of them even appears on the American list. Attention is now fixed on the identity of two of the tankers.
