A rehabilitation center in the Dnipro region of Ukraine reopened after being rebuilt with funding from Lithuania. The facility is dedicated to treating civilians and military personnel who have suffered spinal cord injuries. Reconstruction created thirty‑four inpatient treatment spots within the hospital. Among those, fifteen rooms were specially adapted as double and single suites to meet specific patient needs. The centre is prepared to serve a substantial number of patients, with the capacity to handle more than one thousand seven hundred individuals. The opening marks a collaborative effort to restore medical services in the war‑affected area. Lithuanian contributions were highlighted as a key factor in the centre’s revival.
