Indonesia’s anti‑corruption commission (KPK) is investigating a corruption case in Pemalang. The probe follows a meeting between a member of the regional council and the local regent. KPK spokesperson Budi Prasetyo said both individuals responded to the investigators’ summons. The investigation is being conducted at the Pemalang police headquarters.
