Chile's economic activity fell 1.5% in July, according to the central bank. That puts the third quarter on track for another negative reading. Between January and July, activity is down 0.4% overall. Seasonally adjusted figures show the economy at its lowest point since October 2024. Forecasts for 2026 are now being revised below 1% growth.
De acuerdo al Banco Central, entre enero y julio, la actividad acumula una caída de 0,4%. Medido en términos desestacionalizados, la economía chilena retrocedió a su nivel más bajo desde octubre de 2024.
