A worker nicknamed 'Soldado Azul' came to the aid of a foreign tourist who was robbed in central Quito. He witnessed the assault, recovered the victim's suitcase and then followed one of the suspected attackers. The incident comes amid repeated complaints about street crime in the historic centre.
