The 22nd Malaysia International Halal Showcase, MIHAS 2026, opens this Wednesday at the Malaysia International Trade and Exhibition Centre (MITEC) in Kuala Lumpur. Organizers expect the event to draw around 50,000 visitors from 45 countries. MIHAS has grown over two decades into one of the largest halal trade exhibitions in the world. Exhibitors use the fair to present halal-certified products and services to buyers from around the world. Importers, retailers and distributors from the Middle East, Asia and beyond treat the Kuala Lumpur show as a key stop for sourcing halal goods. Malaysia has long positioned itself as a global hub for halal certification and trade, and MIHAS is the centerpiece of that effort. Past editions have also featured business matching sessions and national pavilions for international participants. Organizers expect this year's edition to generate new orders for Malaysian and foreign exporters alike.
