Abdelilah Benkirane, the secretary general of Morocco's Justice and Development Party, says he is pleased with early vote counts. In a live broadcast on his official Facebook page, he said preliminary results from certain polling stations put the PJD in first place in most districts where counting had finished. He also took the opportunity during the broadcast to renew his condemnation over the refusal of some officials, the report notes.
