Ardee Golf Club returned from Westmanstown with two All-Ireland titles to its name. The club doubled up on finals day, a result few Irish clubs ever manage in a single season. Both victories came at the Westmanstown venue, where teams from around the country had traveled for the closing stages of the national competitions. The double points to depth in Ardee's playing ranks, since winning two separate championships needs more than one strong panel. The report gave no details on opponents, scores, or how the final rounds played out. Whatever the margins were, the club's honours board now carries two new national prizes.
