Tirana police released a statement about gunfire during a drug operation in Kruja this Tuesday. Reports initially suggested a violent confrontation during the raid. Police now claim an officer fired a shot into the air to scare away wild animals from the forest. They insist the weapon was not used against any suspects. This explanation comes after public concern over the use of firearms during the mission. The operation successfully targeted drug trafficking activities in the area.
