The discovery of a human skeleton buried under the floor of a mosque in Ouazzane has stirred local officials into action. Workers came across the bones during demolition and excavation work at the mosque in the city's Boukhrad neighbourhood. Local authorities and forensic police rushed to the scene, joined by a representative of the Habous and Islamic Affairs ministry. It remains unclear who the remains belong to or how long they lay there.
