Clips circulating on Facebook show a bird bound in tape, shrieking as it is apparently being scolded. Animal welfare group ACRES condemned the footage in strong terms, saying there is no justification for such cruelty. The recordings capture the restrained bird crying out while it is handled, leaving little to the imagination about its distress.
