A Swedish high school student has written an opinion piece urging teachers and politicians not to forget quieter pupils. Hanna Schmidt says many teenagers get good grades and want to learn, yet sit through lessons they find dull because the teaching level is low. They suffer in silence, she argues, because they cause no trouble and therefore get no attention. Her plea to adults in charge is blunt: remember that we exist too.
