An inquest has recorded a verdict of misadventure in the death of Dylan Coady-Coleman, the ten-year-old killed when a van struck him in Shannon. The court heard that parked cars blocked the view in both directions. The boy could not see the vehicle approaching, and the driver had no way of seeing him. The coroner concluded the collision unfolded in circumstances neither of them could avoid.
