An Alberta Mountie has been cleared of charges that he misused a police database to help Rwanda. Const. Eli Ndatuje had faced prosecution under both the Criminal Code and the Security of Information Act over the alleged illegal use of RCMP systems. The not guilty verdict ends a case that mixed police procedure with allegations of foreign interference.
