An audio recording tied to Christa Pike's failed execution attempt has come out. In it, the 50-year-old inmate says she does not have good veins and worries the pentobarbital would burn on the way in. She also speaks about a past ordeal she called her worst nightmare. Pike is now unconscious and on a ventilator at a medical centre in Nashville.
