Prosecutors in Chile are investigating a violent attack in San Clemente in which a group of individuals handcuffed an adolescent and set fire to a house. The incident took place in the Mariposas sector of the commune. Prosecutor Miguel Gajardo, who leads the ECOH, the specialized unit for the fight against organized crime, traveled to the area to take charge of the case himself. Detectives from the PDI, Chile's investigative police, have been assigned to carry out the investigation. So far, no suspects have been named and no motive has been given for the attack. Details remain sparse as the first stage of the inquiry gets underway.
