The Greek General Staff reported that Turkish drones entered Greek airspace. The aircraft invaded three different sectors of the Aegean Sea. Greek forces detected the drones and identified them quickly. Once the breach was confirmed, the drones were intercepted. This event adds to the long-standing tensions between the two neighbors. Both countries frequently clash over airspace and maritime borders in the region. The Greek military remains on high alert for such incursions.
