A new games room is taking shape at the Men's Shed in Tullyallen. The project will give members a dedicated space for indoor games and socialising. Men's Sheds are built around a simple idea: men getting together to work on practical projects and keep each other company. Work at the Tullyallen shed has advanced far enough that the room can already be described as taking shape. An indoor games space gives the group another option for the winter months, when members spend more time inside. No opening date or cost figures were included in the report. Once finished, the room will sit alongside the shed's existing workshop facilities. For members, it means one more reason to drop in during the week.
