Bakan Kacır detayları paylaştı! Ankara Temelli'ye 4,1 milyar dolarlık veri merkezi
Industry and Technology Minister Mehmet Fatih Kacır has detailed plans for a major data center inside the Başkent Organized Industrial Zone in Temelli, on Ankara's outskirts. The first stage carries an investment of 450 million dollars and will deliver a facility with 22 megawatts of capacity. Kacır said a further 900 million dollars will fund advanced cooling systems and a high-capacity information technology infrastructure. Once those systems are in place, he argued, the site can handle secure data storage and processing for state institutions and technology companies. When every phase is finished, the complex is on course for 4.1 billion dollars in fixed capital investment. Few single technology projects in Turkey reach that figure, which puts the zone in rare company. Data centers on this scale need steady power and heavy cooling, and locating the site inside an established industrial zone helps on both counts. Officials have not yet given dates for groundbreaking or completion, so questions about the schedule remain open.
Sanayi ve Teknoloji Bakanı Mehmet Fatih Kacır, Ankara'nın Temelli bölgesindeki Başkent OSB bünyesinde 450 milyon dolarlık yatırımla veri merkezi yapılacağını belirterek, "22 megavat kapasiteli tesis, sonrasında gerçekleşecek 900 milyon dolarlık gelişmiş soğutma sistemleri ve yüksek kapasiteli bilişim altyapısıyla kurumlarımızın ve teknoloji şirketlerimizin güvenli veri depolama ve işleme ihtiyaçlarına cevap verecek. Tüm etaplar tamamlandığında Ankara Temelli Başkent Organize Sanayi Bölgesi'nde 4,1 milyar dolarlık bir sabit sermaye yatırımı hayat bulmuş olacak." dedi.
