Days of storms and flooding in eastern Spain have now left five people dead. One of the victims was a man killed when a rock came down on his car. Emergency workers spent Monday pulling people from rooftops and from vehicles caught by the water. Several days of relentless rain have left streets flooded and travel across the region treacherous. The storm has battered Spain's east for days, and crews are still working through the aftermath. Motorists surprised by fast-rising water are among those rescue teams are trying to free. With rescues still under way on Monday, the final toll of the flooding is not yet known.
