Kyrgyzstan and Belarus have settled on a friendlier rule for short-term visitors. Citizens of either country may now stay in the other for up to 30 calendar days after arrival without any registration. Previously, guests had to deal with registration formalities that added fuss to even brief trips. The change removes that chore for tourists and people visiting relatives across the border. The rule works in both directions, so a Kyrgyz citizen in Minsk and a Belarusian in Bishkek are treated identically. The 30 days are counted from the date a person crosses the border, and longer stays still require going through registration. The arrangement fits into the two countries' broader cooperation, within which large numbers of their citizens travel back and forth for work and family.

Граждане Кыргызстана и Беларуси смогут находиться на территории обеих стран без регистрации в течение 30 календарных дней после прибытия.
