The Hereditary Prince of Liechtenstein, Alois, used his right of veto to block legislation that would relax abortion laws. Parliament had approved the legislation last month. This marks the first time the prince has exercised his veto power in 22 years.
De erfprins van Liechtenstein, Alois, heeft zijn vetorecht ingezet om te voorkomen dat de wetgeving rondom abortus wordt versoepeld. De wetgeving werd vorige maand door het parlement goedgekeurd. Het is de eerste keer dat Alois zijn vetorecht inzet.
