Kamratposten has published a roundup of the books its young reviewers have rated highest this year. The magazine hands three new titles to readers aged between 9 and 15 in every issue. Those reviewers score each book on a scale from 0 to 5. Any title earning a 4 or a 5 makes the cut for the current list. The collection now runs through every positively rated book printed in the magazine so far this year. Because the verdicts come from children themselves, the list reads differently from the usual adult-driven literary coverage. It is, in effect, a reading guide written by the very age group the stories are meant for. More titles will join it as the magazine's remaining issues come out.
