The Ministry of Islamic Affairs called on imams and preachers to hold the rain prayer on Saturday morning. The prayer will be held in 125 mosques across various governorates in the country. The ministry said the prayer is meant to revive the Prophetic tradition of asking God for rain. It made the call in a statement issued on Sunday.
