Gremio del salmón pide “acciones concretas” del gobierno para impulsar la industria y destrabar más de 5 mil empleos
Loreto Seguel, the executive president of the Salmon Council, is calling for the government to move beyond political will and take concrete actions. She believes this shift is necessary to help the industry and unlock over 5,000 jobs. Regarding trade with the United States, the council is awaiting news on tariff negotiations. Seguel stated that Chilean salmon is the most consumed variety by people in the United States. She views this fact as a positive development for the sector.
La presidenta ejecutiva del Consejo de Salmón, Loreto Seguel, sostiene que "hay que pasar desde la voluntad política a acciones concretas. Ahí está uno de los principales desafíos que tenemos como país". Sobre las negociaciones en materia de aranceles con Estados Unidos están esperando noticias, pero, afirma, "está claro es que el salmón chileno para Estados Unidos es el salmón más consumido por el pueblo estadounidense y eso es una buena noticia".
