The National Bank of Serbia revoked the license of Alta Bank on Saturday. This decision follows a significant decline in the bank's financial condition. The bank will now enter bankruptcy proceedings. The Deposit Insurance Agency will handle payments to depositors. These insured amounts will be paid out within seven business days.
