Barbaros Gezgin has been elected as the deputy mayor of Milas in Muğla. This election followed the arrest and removal of Mayor Fevzi Topuz. The voting process took four rounds to reach a result. Gezgin, representing the New Party, secured the position after receiving 18 votes in the final round.
Muğla'nın Milas ilçesinde Belediye Başkanı Fevzi Topuz'un tutuklanarak görevinden uzaklaştırılmasının ardından yapılan başkan vekili seçimini Yeni Parti adayı Barbaros Gezgin kazandı. Üç turda sonuç alınamayan seçimde Gezgin, dördüncü turda 18 oy alarak Milas Belediye Başkan Vekili oldu.
