A PASOK member of the European Parliament claims that Greek banks lack the incentive to support the real economy. This includes a lack of support for small and medium businesses as well as the primary sector. He argues this is due to a banking system where systemic banks are controlled by foreign funds. According to the official, these funds hold between 80% and 90% control.
Σύμφωνα με τον ευρωβουλευτή του ΠΑΣΟΚ οι ελληνικές τράπεζες δεν έχουν κανένα κίνητρο να στηρίξουν την πραγματική οικονομία, την μικρομεσαία επιχειρηματικότητα ή τον πρωτογενή τομέα σε ένα αφελληνισμένο τραπεζικό σύστημα όπου οι συστημικές τράπεζες ελέγχονται κατά 80%-90% από ξένα funds.
