The Egyptian Federation dismissed Hossam Hassan on Saturday, November 7. Ali Maher was appointed as the replacement. Maher will lead the team in two upcoming matches against Malawi. These games are scheduled for November 13 and 17. They are part of the qualifying rounds for the 2027 CAN.
