Ghana to host Federation of African Journalists Conference in 2027 – Dwumfour
Ghana will host the Federation of African Journalists (FAJ) Conference in the first quarter of 2027 after the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA) secured the bid, its President, Albert Dwumfour, has announced. Speaking at the 30th GJA Media Awards in Accra, Mr Dwumfour said the successful bid was among a series of continental achievements recorded by the Association in the past four years. He also cited Ghana's successful bids to host the African Media Convention and the FAJ Steering Committee Meeting as part of efforts to strengthen the country's influence in Africa's media landscape. “Within the past four years, the Ghana Journalists Association has chalked up significant continental achievements, further elevating Ghana's profile and influence in Africa's media landscape,” he said.
