A real estate boss from Ho Chi Minh City, Dương Thanh Cường, is being brought back to court for a sixth trial. He is already serving an aggregated life sentence built up from five earlier convictions. The new case concerns the inflation of asset values on paper. Those inflated values were used to borrow money from banks. Prosecutors link the scheme to the appropriation of 72 billion dong. The proceedings continue while he serves the prison term from his previous cases.
