A test was conducted to see if electric all-wheel drive can compete with mechanical systems. Mud, gravel, steep slopes, and slippery surfaces were used as the testing ground. The trial compared the Toyota C-HR+ AWD hybrid and the Toyota Hilux EV 4x4. Both vehicles featured different types of four-wheel drive systems.
