Over 500 000 cyber-weaknesses detected

Namibia identified over 506,000 weaknesses in networks and computer systems between July and September of this year. These vulnerabilities could leave organizations open to cyberattacks. During the same period, the Namibia Cybersecurity Incident Response Team tracked 163,053 cyber events. The Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia released these figures yesterday.
NAMIBIA recorded more than 506 000 weaknesses in computer systems and networks that could expose organisations to cyberattacks between July and September this year. The Namibia Cybersecurity Incident Response Team also recorded 163 053 cyber events during the same period. The figures were released by the Communications Regulatory Authority of Namibia yesterday.
