Customs enforcement teams from the Ministry of Trade conducted operations between January and October. These efforts resulted in the seizure of 54 tons and 480 kilograms of narcotics. Officials also confiscated many smuggled goods. The seized items included millions of electronic cigarette pods, macarons, and cigarette filters. Tons of tobacco and alcoholic beverages were recovered during the operations.
