Electoral Court rejects UDFP application to submit ward candidates late

The Electoral Court has dismissed the United Democratic Front Party’s application to submit ward-candidate nominations after the 28 August 2026 deadline, ruling that the IEC had no power to exempt the party from the election timetable.
