CultureSafe founder Allan Halse, who tangled with Hamilton's council in a free speech fight, has been ordered to pay $31,000. The Employment Court gave him 21 days to come up with the money. The judge found his conduct had unnecessarily dragged out a legal challenge that stretched over four years. Halse built his name as a workplace anti-bullying campaigner who routinely took employers to court.
