Michal Pálka, a native of Banská Štiavnica, has spent more than two decades working on projects that rescue historic buildings and bring them back to life. His restoration work eventually took him to Norway, where he spent years putting old structures back into use. That chapter of his career also brought him face to face with King Harald V. The encounter clearly left a mark on him, and he has opened up about what the meeting was like.
