Ajit Bharti moves Delhi high court against trial court order denying anticipatory bail in SC/ST act case
Ajit Bharti has taken his case to the Delhi High Court after a trial court refused him anticipatory bail in a case filed under the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. The lower court found that the material on record prima facie disclosed an offence under Section 3(1)(r) of the 1989 law and declined pre-arrest bail. Bharti now wants that order overturned.
