Delhi's Municipal Corporation has carried out 34 demolitions and sealed 17 properties in a safety drive that followed a building collapse killing seven occupants. Inspectors are now examining paying guest accommodations across the city for structural weaknesses. More than 1,200 buildings have been surveyed for vulnerabilities and needed repairs. The civic body aims to complete the review and prevent another deadly incident.
