Training for cartography operators has been launched in Kinshasa ahead of the Democratic Republic of Congo's national census. The sessions prepare staff who will handle the mapping work for the count. The national population identification office, ONIP, is part of the effort, and its agents already register Congolese citizens and issue their ID cards.
