Incomplete court file delays case against driver in woman’s death, daughter’s injury along Young Street
The case against a driver charged over a crash that killed a St Catherine woman and injured her daughter has been pushed back because the court file is incomplete. The dead woman has been identified as Janet Wilson, a 54-year-old labourer of Jobs Lane, Spanish Town. When the accused, Sheldon Johnson, appeared before Judge Denise Blackstock-Murray on Tuesday, the matter was postponed once again. The Clerk of Court told the judge that several statements are still outstanding and that the investigating officer is not listed on the file.
